Today, we would like to showcase one of the research work which has used Human Placenta for stem cell transportation. This study got published in Experimental Biology and Medicine of July 2009 issue. They hope to cure even more children with chronic blood disorders such as sickle cell anemia, thalassemia, and leukemia. The study is led by Vladimir Serikov, MD, PhD, and senior scientist, Frans Kuypers, PhD.
